hi everybody. i'm an actress and i recently moved to new york, so i want to go to some agencies for actors, but there are so many of them, and i don't know wich one is good. so can somebody tell me a few agencies where i can go?

You're joking, right?  There are literally tons of great agencies in NYC but they won't take a newbie.  You need to get into classes and build up some experience on your resume first.  You need to invite them to come see you perform.  These are the SAG franchised agencies http://www.sag.org/node/667  Just don't bother sending them anything until you're ready or your stuff will go straight into the trash.

Go to the Drama Book Shop on 40th Street between 7th and 8th avenues and pick up a copy of New York Agencies. Not only does it have a list of agencies, but it also is updated every two months or so and tells you exactly what kind of talent the agencies are looking for in that particular moment.
