really gutted, I will always remember him riding the old 600 triumph at Donnington in the last race of the season, Triumphs last in the british supersport (until they returned with the 675).  I had never seen him ride before and he made everyone else on the track look like amateurs when they were on better machinery.  A true sad end to a man that would have made it to motoGP.

I'm sorry to have to report that Craig died in the early hours.

This is a very sad day in Motorcycle racing. A real loss for the whole sport. We've lost a true talent.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

I feel sorry for him so much cuz he'll have to live with it for the rest of his life even though it was unavoidable

It wasn't Pitt's fault at all-there wasn't enough room between him and Jones for him to stop
