Does anybody know how I would go about getting work experience at a major magazine company like Cleo or Vogue?

you send them a cv telling them about yourself, why you want to work on the magazine and maybe some examples of work you have done. the competion is fierce. expect to be put on a long, long waiting list.  for example the waiting list for Heat magazine in the UK is over a year.  i don't know how old you are but vogue are unlikely to take on work experience people so i would try some of the younger magazine titles (teen vogue etc) good luck!

Yeah, you try a smaller magazine first and you get a few journalism degrees. Those magazines are way to popular to hire entry level employees.
