Question:

Does anybody know how i can get in shape for my volleyball tryouts? how can stretch before playing?

i have tryouts for my highschools JV volleyball team. i went to an open practice yesterday, and i came home very sore after having to run so many laps, forwards and backwards. i really need ways to build up my endurance for running. also, i have no idea how im supposed to stretch befroe a game. any suggestions?

  1. ight i am a volleyball player and every other day i do these to get my abs in shape and my legs to get theme stronger and for my vertical leap

    - 50 up downs which is just going on your tip toes and back down

    - 25 squats

    - 20 jumpping squats (squat then jump up)

    - 25 crunches

    -then get a chair and put left foot on the chair and the right on the ground then use the left foot and jump up when u land u should have ur left foot on the ground and ur right foot on the chair do this 15 times

    - 20 sprints to the end of ur driveway and back up

    - then pick a really high mark that is not easy to touch when u jump. (EX my b-ball hoop) then touch it 10 times


  2. jog for 2 hours in mornin and than at night everyday.

  3. try and do a splits, for flexablility in the legs, then some push ups and crunches.Try and do you're over hand serve over you're fence, from a distance. then work on you're bump/passing,spiking /hitting,and setting.

  4. run junp and practice!!!
