Does anybody know how i can start playing snooker?

i am 13 and i love snooker and im ok but i want to get invlolved playing competitivly so does anybody no how or where i start i live in stafforshire

  1. Find your local pool/snooker hall ask the people there about competitions and they will tell you about local competitions


  2. You need to find a club in your area - don't just plump for the one nearest to home, try to find out how many members/teams they have, if they enter junior competitions, and if they have other junior members you could practice with.

    The Staffordshire and West Midlands Snooker Association have a Junior Competition.  Stafford and District Snooker League have a Junior Cup.  Their websites (link below) show all the clubs in the league, so are a good place to start.
