Dont know and i have to say that if anyone tired, id like to see them live through it, but i doubt they will!

it wont matter because not even a quater through youll die because youll drown starve go through dehidration or youll be eaten.I am still sure though it depends on your swimming pace and how much energy you have, and also on if you can get to rest and sleep inbetween the time whenever you get tired!

It is 988 Miles from Puerto Rico to senegal and if you go at 2mph (average swimming time) timeyou would reach there in 494 hours.

It would depend on the capabilities of the swimmer. You'd have to figure out how many miles across the ocean it would be and then figure it from there. And of course you have to factor in whether or not you were eaten by a shark while performing the feat.
