  1. I just copied/pasted the info from their website below.  You might get a better view of it all if you follow the link.  The first number after the cruise description is the number of points required for an interior cabin.  The second is the number of points needed for an ocean view cabin.

  2. It depends on where you want to go and for how long. We have used miles for our last 3 trips and got them at a good time. If you see the trip advertised with less points thru Carnival you must contact them within so many days prior to leaving to get your miles credited back. I can't remember it might be 90 days prior.

  3. If you don't have a SeaMiles card yet, consider opting for a Capital One No Hassel Rewards card, expecially if you fly to your destination.  I love the No Hassel air option, but you can also exchange points for a 1% cash back credit (once you hit 10,000 points) or other great retailer cards.  I checked into the sea miles card, because I usually cruise Carnival, but I didn't think the perks were that great.
