the area of the house has nothing to do with it. What you need is the average and max power you use. You can get this from old electric bills.

You need to contact your power company and see if you are allowed to sell power back to them. This avoids the need of many large batteries.

You need to contact your state, county and town officials to see what the zoning laws are re wind turbines.

Some guesses. Your worse case usage in the summer is 2000 kw. You should get a wind turbine 3-4 times larger than that so you can sell power to the utility when winds are good, and buy it back when not.

So that is a 8000 kw unit. Add some for losses, and try for 10kW.
