how much recoil does the glock 19 have for a first buyer?

any suggestions on a nice 9mm?

compared to a 22 it's a lot, compared to a .45 it's not much at all.  Just use both hands, straighten up the arms and lean forward a bit for more accurate follow up shots.  This will make sure the recoil goes into the torso, instead of flipping up the muzzle.
