Does anybody know how to improve a scorpion?

a scorpion is a cheerleading move that the girls usually do while in the air I've been practicing mine on the ground just to start of with... I am a young cheerelader(not on a squad yet) and I have alot of the moves down...

  2. Work on your splits. Get near a wall with your back to it and neal on one leg. Lift your back foot to the wall so that your foot is about a foot or less away from the floor. Then slide your front leg until you are in the splits position with your back foot still raised on the wall. You will feel a stretch for sure. Do that until you are completely flat in the splits. I think that will help your scorpion.
