Does anybody know how to take taxi from Cancun airport to Cancun bus terminal??

anybody know where can I take taxi from Cancun airport to Cancun bus terminal?? ( I know taxi station should be around airport; but we can NOT recognize their words..:o(((

and how much will it cost??

Is it dangerous to take "green skin " taxi?

"Taxi" works in Spanish as well as English (Japanese, too).

All you'd have to tell him is "Terminale Autobus, por favor." (pronounced "terminal-ay ow-toe-boos, pore favorr") or "Estación autobus" instead. Or, you could take the bus that runs from the airport each hour.

There are basically three options to go from the Airport to the Bus terminal:

- taxi.  It is pretty expensive in Cancun.  It cost you $40 USD for the ride.  There are terminals by the luggage claim area.  You buy your ticket, they take you to the front and to your taxi.

- Suburban.  In this you share the ride with other people.  Same terminals that sell tickets to taxi sell tickets for "Collectivo" the word for the share ride.  It cost around $10 per person.  It can take you an hour to get there, because they will stop at hotels to deliver other passengers.  Bus terminal will be last stop.

- Bus.  The safest, most comfortable, fastest and economical option.  It cost $2 USD. You can see the terminals for the bus line ADO.  They also have a bus that goes to Playa del Carnen.  I do not remember the price, but is not expensive.  The bus runs every half hour or so.

By federal law there are no other forms of transportation from airport.  Do not accept any other offer made at airport.  Just go to one of the terminals and choose your method of transport.  They will obviusly push the most expensive, but the bus is by far the most efficient.

The Taxi station should be INSIDE the airport.  You PREPAY and the  person at the counter gives your "ticket" to an approved taxi driver.  These are the safe taxis.  Do not take one waiting by the curb outside.  They are quite used to English speaking tourists.
