Does anybody know if Curlin is retired?

No, Curlin is not retired. He is planning to run in the Stephen Foster Stakes on June 14. Curlin is also nominated to the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp, and the is nominated for the Japan Cup at Tokyo Racecourse. He will likely be retired after this year to be bred to mares.

yes there was a posting on 04/01/2008 that he was retired immediately

That posting in April is bogus. Steve Asmussen would not say some of the things that were quoted on that posting.

He is going to the Stephen Foster and then abroad to the Arc de Triomphe and/or the Japan Cup...

But if Big Brown wins the Belmont there will be an out cry for them to face each other in the Breeders Cup...

Keep your fingers crossed that match up might still happen but it's looking slim.

he is alive and well...hope is he meets up with big brown this fall in the breeders cup!

Hey one of my favorites, Saw him run in the Arkansas derby. He won the Jaguar Trophy in Dubai in February.
