  1. I don't see why it wouldn't be able to (as long as the region codes are the same). Go for it, buddy.


  2. Most commercial DVDs are DVD9, so no DVD player can't play them. However, the LG DVK-9913N appears (see link) to not be a DVD player ... it's apparently a DivX /MP3 / WMA disk player.
