Does anybody know if Martin Hitch ever played Rugby?

As far as I know he supposedly played for the Auckland Warriors. I just want the truth behind it. So can someone please help me?

  1. I am a rugby league fan and follow the National Rugby League competition which the Auckland Warriors play for. I don't recall his name. A search on Yahoo! and Google came up empty as well. If he played for the Warriors, he certainly wasn't a first grader and there are no verifiable reports of a rugby career of any note.
