My Aunt was recently dissappointed to learn she is no longer allowed to consume any salt. Her one favorite thing was drinking tea and she was told all teas have salt in them so not allowed to have any more. Anybody know of any saltless teas or if this is all a crock to begin with?

  1. only processed teas have salt.  stick with the old fashioned way of making tea with leaves and hot water.

  2. Unprocessed tea does not contain salt. If your aunt brews the tea from teabags or loose leaf, there shouldn't be a problem.

On the other hand, tea sold in bottles or cans, like iced tea, can contain salt.

  3. maybe she should ask DA doc 'about it an ' see whats up.

i don't think it has salt in it . i know u have sugar cubes in  it . i think that sugar cubes have salt in them.

  4. yes, almost all commercial beverages have salt in them, it is a trick they use because the sodium absorbs water so it makes you more thirsty
