Does anybody know if there is a service that could buy something from an american website and send to me in UK

i want to buy something on the internet but the website selling the item only posts the the USA and i live in the UK if there is a service that could let me pay them then they send it on to me then let me know please.

If you search the above  - you get lots of companies that do just that - mail forwarding.
