  1. hmmm, a very legal question.

First, you cannot practice profession here and take the Philippine Medical Board here. Because, the USA and the Philippines have no treaty of reciprocity when it comes to the practice of medical profession. However there are certain issues in your question:

    1. The practice of medicine here is exclusive for Filipinos, except the alien, by any special circumstance was allowed to practice here because of any medical mission, which must be assisted by Filipino doctors. More so, if the Filipino doctors are not allowed to practice in the US, without taking and passing the Medical board in the US the same treatment shall be accorded to US citizens here in the Philippines.

When we say reciprocity, the medical board here passed by Filipinos is readily recognized and can be considered valid Board exams to allow the Philippine Board passer to practice the profession in the US (for instance). But if not automatic, its not reciprocity.

    2. When you studied medicine in the Philippines, the government (assuming you are an American Citizen and has ACR) only allowed you to study...taking the board and practising it here, is a different story.

    3. If you are FIlipino, or possibly can be a holder of dual-citizenship status, then you can take the board here and practice here.
