Does anybody know of a good job for teens under 18?

I started working just after I turned 16 at Golden Corral (if you're not familiar, it's an all-you-can-eat family-oriented buffet).  Looking back, I'd say it wasn't a great job, but at the time, I thought it was awesome!  When I was almost 18 I started working at Auntie Anne's pretzels in our local mall.  I grew up in a medium sized mid-western town, so things might be harder in a bigger city.  Most of my peers just worked in some sort retail at the mall or food service; yeah it sucks, but it's money, and you don't have much choice when you're a teen.  I know our city hires teens in the summer to be life guards and do landscaping work.  A smaller college in town hires teens for summer landscaping as well.  Of course, the good old fall back is babysitting, but I've always hated kids, so that wasn't an option for me.  Good luck with you search!

dont fall for any of that online ****, dont fall for the door to door c**p either. life guard retail yard work door to door are all things that most teens do and they all SUCK!!! lol best thing to do is brush up on office skills and try to go for receptionist which sucks to but better hours possibly, teach classes to younger children, work for a daycare, camp or center. coach a team, be a role model, tutor if your good in school. offer lessons in something you are good at, skateboarding, swimming, another language, anything. offer to run errands for an eldery neighbor or take them to appts.
