Does anybody know of a pill capsule or tablet that can cause weight gain. Please do not say any food.?

  1. There is no pill because there's just not sufficient quantity in a pill to make you gain weight (usually just over 1 gram is the most a pill can hold). There are protein powders and "weight gain" powders out there, but they basically help your muscles recoup after a hard workout and help workouts last longer (so you're gaining muscle weight, which is the healthy weight anyway).

    That being said, even if you don't want to hear it, talking to a dietitian is the safest way to gain weight... that way, you can work with them to set up a meal plan and exercise regiment to help you gain weight.

    Also, to note, you're absolutely right to not want to hear "eat more". After all, the WORST way to gain weight is just to eat more... it's moreso eating the right things to gain the weight to make sure you're getting more of the healthy stuff.

    I've been working out more over the past several months and I've gained around 20 pounds through working out. I used to hover around 135-140 pounds (for the past 10+ years before this), so that's a huge boost for me. Give it a shot and you'll be pleasantly surprised  :-)

  4. You need to assimilate food better.  Well all dieters will tell you they gain weight when they see it. WHY that is because they skip meals when they are hungry and it you start to skip breakfast or lunch while hungry you are more likely to gain weight as you body metabolism will change.

    Do not skip meals though if you are doing some physical things as this might not be good to do.
