Does anybody know of any Renaissance Festivals in Germany.?

Question

My fiance and I will be going to Germany for our Honeymoon and are into Renaissance Festivals. Does anybody know of any.

We'll be there from May 26th to June 7th. It doesn't matter if the fair doesn't go on during that time. We'd like to see if there are any.

That might depend on where you'll be at.  There are various types of fests here year-round.  There are a few Renaissance Fests that I am aware of.  Ronneburg is the German state of Hessen (If you're flying into Frankfurt it's not too far away).  I believe Budingen, which is near Ronneburg, has one as well.

Their festival tend to be more in the summertime, you may still visit the castles at that time of year, or take contact with the organisers, they may not more about similar events.
