Does anybody know of any golf games for a golf outing?

Question

I'm looking for something that ANY talent level can win, not just the good golfers. Doesn't necessarily have to be golf related. I'm trying to find one game per hole. Two examples might be

1) Longest drive with a marshmallow

2) Closest person to a marker in the fairway about 150 yds out.

Games can either be won by individuals or by the 4 man team.

1) 3 Club Golf (Great way to handicap the men in a men vs women match). Basically the women  choose 3 clubs the opposition is allowed to use, and the putter counts as one.  Men do not get to choose in the Men vs Women Model.  However in just a free for all, then both teams choose the 3 clubs that can be used.  You can also do this per hole or per 9 or for the full 18.   You can also say you're not allowed to use the same combination of clubs (3clubs) on any more than x number of holes.  This get humorous really fast when someone is left with nothing but wedges for a par 5 or a woods and putter for a short par 3 or sand shot.

2) Crazy Shot Golf - this is a drinking game i.e. the craziest shot actually made is worth par for the hole.  That is the maker of the shot gets to direct 4 people (for a par 4) to take drinks. The drink value goes down as par gets closer or it goes up if someone wants to bet more that you don't make the shot.  (kind of like name that tune except you get to make it up as you go along).  This game makes for some really funny stories.

3) Happy Face Golf.  This is a scoring method judge at the end of the round at the 19th hole.  Basically you draw a happy face on your card that describes how you felt about the hole.  At the end of the round try and re-tell the story of the hole based solely on the face drawn.  Best coroborated story gets you a free drink.

One Ball

Though it can be difficult for those that don't know how to get out of hazards(rough, bunkers). Basically, one person tees then the next has to hit the same ball from where it landed but it must land and/or go a certain distance or else you get called for "Betrayal" -- you lose one turn.

When I play we call it the animal game.  If you go into the sand trap you are now the camel.  Water=frog, out of bounds=gorilla,three putt=snake.  When someone else does one of these they take your animal away.  The object of the game is to have none at the end of 18 holes.  Each person that has an animal has to either pay the other three(1$, 5$ etc.) or buy them a drink at the clubhouse.

Their are hudreds of games you can play as witness by all the answers you are getting.  But do the real golfers a favor (the one playing behind your group) and check with the course where you are having this event that you won't be holding up play for others.

a "scramble" is where all the players in the group play their 2nd shots from where the best drive landed.  Another type of scramble is where you then all play your third shots from where the best second shot ended up (and so on).  So, you could hit a poor drive and a poor second shot, but win the hole (and the skin) by holing a good putt.
