Does anybody know of any good hobbies that I can take up for the summer?

I know it's kind of hard since you don't know me, but I need something to keep me busy over the summer since I don't really have that many friends.I can't get a job since I'm only 14 and I hate sports, but other than that just want some ideas so I can have something to do. If you can think of some suggestions I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

I do stamped cross stitching, all year long, not just during the summer.

Earn money by selling some of your old stuff at a yard sale!

-get a guitar and learn how to play it (i make my own songs.. it's fun!)

-get a pet fishy (i have fish and some crawfish... it's rewarding making a home for it, caring for it, and watching it grow)

-go fishing

-get a sketch book and start drawing

-get a bonsai tree (i just bought 3 of them... they are beautiful to look at and i know the hard work going into caring for them will pay off in the future... these trees last for hundreds of years, so you can pass them down to your children)

-start finding out what your interests and passions in life are (i wish i would have done that at a younger age... you have a few more years until college. Find out what you LOVE to do right now and pursue it)

-finally make some friends!

Try cross-stitching! Cheap, easy, great fun too, creative, plus that you can do it also during those awful rainy days!!

-Dance. Thats always a blast whether your at a studio, camp, or in your own room.

-Go hang out with some of your neighborhood friends. Im sure they would love to hang out sometimes.

-Learn to play a musical instrument.

-Meet new kids and learn their interests and maybe you guys will have things in common.
