  1. To me (living in South London!) this place is in North London, though it is probably more inner East - anyway, it is called E Pellici and is an 'old-school' caf' serving up cheap, decent food in a friendly environment

  2. I like the parma cafe next to camden road train station.

  3. I go to one next to Clissold Park (Manor House nearest tube) called the New River cafe. There's also a nice cafe in the park itself that does a breakfast where you pay per item (ie you make your own breakfast one sausage at a time!)

  4. The Hope, 111 Holloway Road does good breakfasts.

There are loads of other cafes around, so competition keeps prices keen.

  5. I nominate Mario’s Cafe in Kentish town. Other than the fact it has been mentioned in a Saint Etienne song, they do the best breakfast in north London at a semi-reasonable price  They use the best organic and top quality products for the eggs, bacon and sausages, etc, but they do a really good Eggs Benedict, far better than I’ve had in some posher restaurants up-town. And the staff are very friendly.

  6. There is a cafe at the Junction of Sewardstone  Road and the North Circular at Chingford and it is open on Sundays.

I f any body wants a superb fish resteraunt then The Ark  in Herman Hill Wanstead
