  1. Department of Health should have early intervention services for ANY child in need from birth to age three. You should look at your local Dept of Health for assistance.

    Services include therapy, lessons and often classes for MOM, as well as in home supports and respite care.

  2. Contact Hadley School for the Blind.  They have parent groups and classes. I took some through the mail.

  3. The Braille Institute is a good place to start. Alternatively, Easter Seals has a program for blind kids. You could also contact your county's department of education, and also try your state's department of rehabilitation.
