Does anybody know that quote, "I didn't change, I just grew into the person I've always been..."

Those aren't the exact words, but that's all that I can remember. I've been looking all over Google to figure out what it really says, but I can't find it anywhere!

There are a couple that spring to mind ... but nothing exact, I'm sorry!

George Eliot - "It's never too late to be the person you might have been."  

I've also seen her quote as, "It's never too late to be the person you always wanted to be."

Oriah Mountain Dreamer - "What if the question is not why am I so infrequently the person I really want to be, but why do I so infrequently want to be the person I really am?"  (From her book, 'The Dance'.)
