Does anybody know the nationality of the surname Quismorio?

Im from the Philippines and I'm making a family tree.

Can't seem to know what nationality are they...

An interesting article about the Phillipines and its history... look closely and find the mention of a Dr Frank Quismorio, who appears to be a historian?  He would seem to be a good point of contact.

I checked some of my sources, and find no mention of the name anywhere other than the Phillipines.  You know, of course, that Spanish were early settlers there, and many names do come from Spain. Sometimes, you will find a completely unique name, because it was something else originally and the only place you'll find the variation is where the variation happened.  THAT is only an educated guess.
