A good homeopathic remedy is Arnica. It is effective in reducing the swelling of bruised tissue. If it's a deep bruise, try bellis perennis. You can purchase arnica at most pharmacies, but bellis perennis is likely only available at a health food store.

Blood thinners, like aspirin, vitamin e, fish oil, prescription blood thinners like coumadin, ibuprofen. then run into something after taking them for a little while.
