Does anybody know this- if you are collecting S & A from an insurance company can you leave the country?

I am collecting Sick and Accident from where I work and I am wondering if I can leave to go to florida for 3 weeks while collecting? From Canada.

  1. That's a good question ... the answer is .... maybe.  Unfortunately, different companies and different local governments will have their own rules and laws regarding this type of thing.

    I hate to say it, but you will have to speak to the claims adjuster on this one.  If the reason for your visit to Florida is other than for vacation they will probably less reluctant to tell you no.
