Does anybody know what a kelpie is?

lts a water horse, an entity that haunts lochs and lakes to lure people to ride or touch it. lt's adhesive skin then holds the person to the kelpie while it jumps into the water drowning them then making nourishment from their bodies, thats the tale at least. Now when l see a white horse near lakes, l'll first throw something at it to see if it sticks. When it sticks, l know it's a kelpie and l'll have a white horse head trophy by evening.
