Does anybody know what happened to Antonio Cervantes?

After his defeat to Arron Pryor he had 5 more fights losing his last in 1983 to Danny Lopez.  He returned to Columbia and squandered the 1.5 million he had earned in his career.  LIke many boxers he has fallen on hard times.  

He made the news shortly after his retirement when a passenger on his boat almost died in an accident.  He was well loved among his people and in the boxing community.  He now lives in his native Columbia.

Wow, "Kid Pembele."  I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Antonio Cervantes because he was the greatest Colombian fighter of all time, and I myself am partly Colombian.  He retired at the end of 1983 with an excellent record of 91-12-3, 44 KOs, and since then, he has been living the quiet life in his native country, although I heard that he has struggled financially in the past like most fighters do when they retire.  Hopefully, he has gotten the help that he needs because great fighters like him should be taken care of when they retire.  I assume that he is doing alright though because I have not read anything about him recently.
