  2. Yes, it's a way of describing how much the dollar is worth in relation to another currency (e.g., Yen, Euro) or, more generally, to a basket of developed-world currencies.

  3. Thanks to the corrupt bankers (commonly called the Federal Reserve) & the IRS which feeds them, the dollar is decreasing in value.  The lower the value of the dollar-the more dollars it takes to buy anything.

    According to a study by the National Taxpayers Union- Ron Paul's proposals would cut federal spending by 150 BILLION.

    Ron Paul will end the Fed.

    Ron Paul will end the IRS.

    Ron Paul is against regulating the internet.

    Ron Paul is against every bill contrary to or prohibited by the U. S. Constitution.

When the value of our dollar increases, it means that our countries' economy is strong.  ie:  Manufacturing, banking, Imports and the such are working at good or better capacity and most people are working.  Therefore, other countries value our dollar more than their own.  Of course, when the dollar decreases,  just the opposite is true.

  6. It means that the American dollar is no longer as strong as it used to be. When you exchange money at a bank or an airport, you don't get as much as you used to be able to. It also means that when you are buying things, the price of items is increasing, so a single dollar cannot buy what it used to be able to. This is the beginnings of what is known as inflation.

  7. Yes, it means prices for things change.  It wouldn't be so bad if our paychecks were equally as fluid.

  8. When people inside a country as well as those outside the country has less faith in that countries' economical future, the currency's value goes down and vice verse.
