i was just listening to the speedo make waves podcast with him on it and he said that he likes to listen to the red hot chili peppers and the killers.

Yeah I was wondering this too, I looked around and he definitely listens to hiphop, some artists including Eminem and Young Jeezy.

The music helps him to get pumped up or get in the mood before a race.  It is just like when they have music going on during the warmup before a basketball or football game.
