Does anybody know what websites take paypal?

Even the ones listed on there website ie marks and spencer dont take paypal, it's so annoying and even if you ring paypal i can understand what they are saying!! ahhhh!!

In my experience, everywhere takes PayPal. In fact, most sellers I've dealt with insisted on PayPal.

Most ebay sellers require it.

Possibly you can only use PayPal if you access the retailer via the 'shop now' link on the above page?  I tried but didn't follow through very far because I didn't want to agree to the T&Cs that came on screen.

If you are in the UK try shopwithapal which is a directory that has started up, for websites that accept Paypal

The reason most of us won't take Paypal is, we have already been cheated by them at one time or another.

ebay!

Paypal are fine but wait until you find a problem with them... Have a google around on paypal problems, they are an unscrupulous nightmare!

small sellers (eg ebay, small business) choose to take paypal, as it doesn't involve setting up a business banking system that can take payments online (costly and more complicated)

it is however an option - and major stores don't use it because they have their own banking systems in place already

Boots will accept paypal, but i think thats the only real major retailer to accpet it at the moment. the others are small independant internet shops selling fragrenced soap or posters.
