  1. 2 miles per gallon. aint much huh?

  2. I have a 1997 corolla and it gets 30 mpg. I would assume around 30.

  3. depends - manual, or automatic?  the standard 4-cylinder version, or the V6 optional upgraded engine?

    http://www.fueleconomy.gov/f*g/bymodel/1...

    EPA:

    4cyl, manual, 20mpg city/29mpg highway/23mpg combined

    4cyl, automatic, 20mpg city/28mpg highway/23mpg combined

    V6, manual, 18mpg city/26mpg highway/21mpg combined

    V6, automatic, 17mpg city/24mpg highway/19mpg combined

of course, your actual MPG will vary, depending on how well maintained the vehicle is, and your actual driving patterns...

actual owners of the 4cyl automatic report an average 26.6mpg, while owners of the V6 automatic report an average of 22.1mpg.

the 97 changed body styles but kept the same power tran

epa list the car at 23/30 for a 4 cyl

    and 20/28 for a 6cyl both with a autotrans
