Does anybody know where I can find this quilt pattern?

I cannot remember what it is called but it looks like a continuous strip that makes squares in the individual blocks. I am sure I am not describing it right but if anyone can help me find it I would appreciate it. I saw it many years ago and am trying to find it again. Thanks

  1. This sounds like a variation of the courthouse strep block.

Cut a center square for example:   2-3".   Cut strips 2-3".

Sew strips to both sides, then top and bottom.

Switch colors and repeat.   Change colors again and repeat.

You can go to Amazon.com and search under  Heidi Pridemore

Book title:  Dazzling Designs  for a picture of what i am trying to discribe.

      Hope this helps,

  2. If its the one i am thinking about, its almost like a weave. right? anyway, Do you have a local quilt store where people actually know what they are talking about?

You could ask your local guild as well. The president can bring it up in a meeting, and that way you have several people who quilt looking for it.

  3. When you look at pattern does it look like blocks in all directions? If so this could be tumbling blocks pattern. One of my favorites to make. Just yahoo the Internet with tumbling blocks quilt pattern and you will find tons of patterns.

  4. You could try browsing the hundreds of free patterns at

    http://www.quilterscache.com/

to see if you can spot it, if all else fails.

    Good luck.

  5. Look in quilt books or go online to a quilting group. ConnyL
