Does anybody know where any afordable limo service for prom in the new york new jersey area?

I have prom in a couple of months.. I live in Sullivan County New York && I need a stretch SUV such as an Escalade, Hummer, Navigator, etc.. && I can't find anyplace that comes up here that has a limo for that many passengers or isn't ridiculously over priced. Can somebody please help? Thanks

Daddy's car!!  That's the cheapest route, or rent a car.  Lots cheaper than a limo and you can drive in style with a pimp ride.

Limo companies hate prom night...Have you ever seen a limo after dropping off the last passenger from the prom?...They're trashed...Many have puke in the back, which is bad since there is not supposed to be any alcohol in the back...For this reason alone, limo companies put a heavy security deposit (check to see if refundable) on the fare just to cover any extra expense for cleaning, plus downtime...Add to all that the rising cost of fuel, and it gets more costly by the minute.

If you really want a limo, get with your folks and work up a deal with them where you pay for a good portion of the total cost...You've got a couple of months to prepare...See what your friends want to do...If everybody chips in then the cost is spread around...Draw up an agreement (contract) that everybody in your group signs stating what percentage of the cost each signer will pay and include a clause that says 'no alcohol.'..Talk with the manager at a limo company and explain what you have in mind, see if they are willing to work with you...Present the contract between the passengers, it might give you some extra credibility.
