Does anybody know where i could find a website where i could make my own dolls and donate them to the needy?

I have been looking everywhere. i found places like "Ragdolls2love.com" Judisdolls.com" and things like that, but i don't want to make the patterns they give us. i want to make my own dolls to donate them. Does anybody know anywebsites, TRUSTED WEBSITES.

i dont know of any websites, but that's a sweet idea :)

I think many of the groups like that will accept many other dolls as well as the ones they have patterns for, but some may not.

You could always donate any you make to local police and fire stations (they like to give a quilt or snuggly toy to kids they have to pick up when their parents are arrested/etc., or a house burns down).

Or donate them to a local children's hospital or homeless shelter or battered women's shelter.   Food banks also give out toys sometimes.

Or save them up to donate all at Christmas time to those groups that have special "trees" with cards on them you can pick to give to a specific age/s*x of child... just ask to talk to the main people to see if you can donate a bunch of dolls instead of taking specific cards.

If you don't have any of those locally, I'm sure you could send them to other similar hospitals, etc., in big cities and they'd love to have them (you could contact them by phone or online first).
