my aunt had tooken me to this place in san marcos and she told me that where it was filmed.......does anybody know for sure???

I believe the original version (1980'something) was filed in Houston.  Google it or go to IMBD and search it....

2003 version was filmed in Austin, Granger, and Taylor, Texas  (Taylor Meat Company)
