Wistaston Manor House near Crewe offers the best value for money I have seen for years.

During the week you can have an unlimited amount from the carvery for less than £4!

An it's only about another pound at the weekend.

Starters, sweets and coffee are similarly inexpensive - if you need them!

(Portions of beef, ham and turkey are "measured out" with the main meal and are so generous that my wife and I have never been able to finish them - and they are excellent in both quality and quantity.

I do hope too many people do not read this or we will be unable to gain access on our next visit,
