Does anybody know whether this online store called (hoikestore.com) is legal or fraud store?

It is definitely a scam.

I blindly put in an order the other night for a digital camera. As soon as I hit confirm I noticed that the website was not secure (I should have noticed that first). I immediately contacted my credit  card company & cancelled the card. Luckily nothing had been charged to it.

I then checked out the domain registration & saw that it was located in Dallas, TX., not London or Hawaii as they claim on their website. The domain was created 12/10/07. I attempted to call the phone# that was listed in the domain registration & was connected to a fax line. There is a company at that address called Euro-American capital, however, I called & found out that they are in the gas/oil business, not electronics.

I received an order confirmation from Hoike Electronics from [e-mail]. After a whois search this domain is located in Charlotte, NC. This domain was also created 12/10/07 with the same yahoo email address as the hoikestore domain. There are no contact names or owner names listed for this domain.

All of the addresses listed (London, Dallas, Hawaii & North Carolina) are actual street addresses that I checked out using Google maps. Whoever set this up did their homework.

The only thing that I lost was a couple of hours time investigating this phony company & having to cancel my credit card.

If you want to keep your money spend it at an established, reputable website.

This is a fraud, the address in Hawaii is to a company called "Hoike networks,"  that company DOES NOT have an  online store.  The phone numbers do not match up, the registration addresses do not match and the "sitetrust" company says that the domain is illegally using their logo to have the appearance of legitimacy.

DON'T BUY FROM THEM, YOU WILL BE SORRY, THIS IS A FRUADULENT WEBSITE.

Apparently it is a fraud store.

If you want to find out, send some moeny via Western Union to them and see what happens. Just kidding.

I believe this store is a scam. The Whois details for the domain do not match the contact details provided by the store. Those who have tried the contact number have found it to be for a different company.

Furthermore, the website displays a SiteTrust Network seal, but the hoikestore.com domain was NEVER approved by the SiteTrust Network. They had signed up with us using a different domain but quickly had their account suspended after we received a number of customer complaints.

The website uses a stock standard osCommerce template to create a professional looking store, but this website is anything but professional.  They claim to have been around since 2001 but the domain was registered on Dec 10th 2007.

I recommend you stay well clear of this store.
