  1. It's up to the discretion of the NASCAR ruling body whether or not to test the cars on the dyno. Probably, they didn't see any significant reason to suspect  a horsepower irregularity in the engine and didn't test it.

  2. Its a Ford...No advantage there! Just kidding, just a die hard Chevy fan. Saw a chance to make a joke. Umm not sure about your question though...Sorry!

  3. This is another of King Helton's odd things. Doesn't make sense not to test the one car that had more horse power than 42 others. #99 was the only car that could come from behind every time and run faster laps than the others.

Maybe because it's an hours drive to Ford's Dearborn world headquarters and the France family doesn't want to p*ss off Roush or Ford.

  4. NASCAR is just trying to fit its new entertainment image. Carl has more horsepower duh, he's already been cheating once. They are just trying to make the toyota haters happy.

  5. It is strange how DOMINANT Roush's cars were, especially Edward's, even in the Nationwide Series. Look at the top 10 finishers from Sunday. I'm a Jamie McMurray fan (as well as some others) but how often is it he finishes in the top 20? ALL the Roush cars finished in the top 10. Hmmm..... You know good and well if it had been Toyota we'd be reading headlines about how they MUST HAVE cheated...I smell a double standard a'cookin'.

  6. I'll have to agree that is a good question. I don't have a clue as to why Carl wasn't tested. It would be interesting because he had a stout car. There has been no reason's made public as of why they chose the drivers that they did.

In another question someone asked also why only one Chevrolet was tested. The answer to that would be that most of the Hendrick cars were wrecked. I guess it would have been hard to get a good test with a wrecked car from the 88 or 24 crew. Then again the Chevy's looked like they were lacking in HP anyway so maybe that is the reason NASCAR chose the ones that they did. Maybe it was somewhat random and had to do with the Joe Gibbs scandal in the Nationwide series.

  7. How do you no they didn't put his car on the dyno.

  8. maybe cause they got the 16, 17, 6 and Jamie macs too

  9. they are not testing carls car because they already know it had more horses then the rest of the field   notice they picked slower cars to test

maybe there trying to quite jack by not  showing how much power he can make

  10. cause nascar is petty. and they make us test (toyota and jgr) cause were foreign made and they dont trust over seas engines. and ford is american company of course thats why.

  11. The dyno is a random pick, isn't it? I mean, we all know every time Carl wins a race they pick his car apart with mouse-hair tweezers. So what good would it have done?

Carl's a good racer, and when they give him a good car, he wins. Don't you remember a couple years ago when all the Cat-in-the-Hat's cars were in the Chase? Did I hear anything about cheating then? Or last year, did anyone accuse Hendrick of  cheating? No, they're holy.

We all know the fastest car doesn't always win the race. So why cry?

  12. Probably because the race winners car is always taken back to the NASCAR headquarters where it is looked over with a magnifying glass before it is returned to the team.

  13. Because they are testing 3 other Roush cars.  I mean they did put 4 cars in the top 5.
