Does anybody know why I can't use my 360 pic as my avatar on Answers?

I was stupid to switch to Yahoo avatar and now I can't get my 360 pic back on this thing. Does this have anything to do with 360 bugs (i.e. YaHell not fixing them)?

Try deleting the other avatars out of the system and using only that one or it could be a format problem I had a problem with mine a while back also and finally rescanned it and cropped as well .don't know if that is what finally did it but it worked afterwords .yahoo has kind of a primitive system in place there I think .

no it doesnt;-)

what you do is go to the page where it says all your stats...etc.

click on edit my profile and when you get there it should give you a choice of your avatar, 360 picture ,or no picture at all.



If the ¨360 choice does not show up i suggest sending an email to the yahoo! answers team. It should work though, because my picture is my 360 picture.

This is not a good time to try adding a 360 pic to Y/A, as there have been glitches these past few days.

The image may not show up right away in Y/A, as it sometimes take days for the system to catch up. Also, there is a history of glitches with the feature. So, patience is necessary. You'll need to go through the process and have a blank image for a while until the system processes the change. OR you can use a Yahoo! Avatar instead (http://avatars.yahoo.com ) and just wait to see when everyone stops having the same issue, then try to use the 360 image again. It's up to you.

Lastly, it's not always an issue with 360. Yahoo!Answers has glitches of its own sometimes. It may have to do with the Y!360 transition/closing (which hasn't happened yet); it may not. Since this delay has happened many times before, I think not. Click on the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 to find out more about the Y!360 transition, but it's uncertain whether the Y!360 team no longer fixing Y!360 bugs is the issue here or not. I doubt it.
