  1. You may just be too tense and clenching your jaw.  Relax.

  2. you just need to toughen up a little. Pain is inevitable in football. Welcome to the Men's club.

  3. your helmet might be a little to tight so it's soar. loosen it up a little and see how if feels then.

  4. I think you are probably clenching your teeth when you are hitting or blocking and do not know you are doing it. Your jaw muscles will strengthen and should not be a problem. Try working your jaw to loosen it up before practice and softly chew some gum when not at practice. It will help. Don't listen to this nonsense about not being tough its horse@#$. I used to get an achy jaw in high school in the beginning of every year and I played college football so don't think you are not tough enough. wb_2210 by your logic since I had the same problem I need my mancard revoked well sorry to break it to you but I broke my hand in the first quarter of a game my junior year and finished the game at linebacker so don't give me that mancard B.S. If you are telling me that you were never sore after a game or practice you are not playing hard enough. Suiting up doesn't count. You have to play too.

  5. You have absolutely no tolerance for pain and shouldn't be playing football. I broke my wrist last year, split growth plate in half and snapped another bone, so I taped it and kept practicing until my coach personally took me to the hospital to get a cast. I play WR and DB and still participated in catching drills. GET TOUGHER OR YOUR MAN CARD WILL BE REVOKED
