i dont know but im sick of everyone calling us feral supporters. Im not a feral, i have all my teeth and im going to uni. maybe people should look at other supporters for once in their life. I love the pies and im not afraid to tell people which team i support. people usually say to me "why do you support such a feral team when your stunning and the rest of the suppporters are ugly, you should be supporting geelong or the crows". well im not going to do that, the Pies are my team and thats the way its guna stay.

From what I can gather, it would seem Collingwoods biggest problem are their supporters. I don't have a problem with peope being passionate about their team, but from the comments I read in this forum alone they are nothing but arrogant 'people' with an inflated opinion of their own importance. The hatred of Collingwood stems back way before Eddie (love him or hate him, you have to admire what he has done for football, though he is a little full of himself), Mick - I can't dislike Mick as he took the Eagles to two premierships (although his style of play at the time took a huge toll on many of the Eagles players and his treatment of some of the veterans left a little to be desired).

I have a brother in law who is a Victorian and from what he and his family tell me, "Collingwood, you either love them, or you don't." And, well, it would seem there are many many many people who go with the latter....

If you have been to a collingwood v's your team match you would understand why and carlton are not much better with essendon, richmond, hawthorn  not much further down the line

In my view it is not the team that it hated, but it's the supporters.

They are so full of themselves that it is no coincidence that supporters of the other 15 teams can't stand their arrogant manner. I see where a fan was spitting at Fevola of Carlton the other day when their team was beaten.

As I have said before, every sport has it's team that everyone loves to hate, and the AFL's is Collingwood. It's great for the competition though, because rivalry creates more interest in the sport. I don't know why Collingwood are the team that everyone loves to hate, it may be because of Eddie, supporters and players, but the fact is, it boosts interest in our sport.
