  1. R u kidding me??

I will just assume the answer is that u r.

  2. ya and host comes from ghost?

  3. The origin of the god "Saturn" long predates "Satan." So, no.

  4. The name Saturn ws the ancient Greek and Roman name for the planet. It has nothing to do with the superstitions of modern day religious cults.

  5. It wasn't

  6. No, because you just made that up.  Or gullibly fell for the story of the person who did.  Saturnus was a Roman god who pre-dated any Christian notions.

  7. Re: your response to Crabby.  Saturn does not come from Egyptian or Christian mythology.  The earliest reference of this god is the Babylonian Ninib.  This became Kronos to the Greeks and Saturn to the Romans.  He has always been associated with agriculture and the harvest.

Lots of people make up lots of stuff.  Usually you can get pretty reliable information from an encyclopedia, if you bother to look it up.  Some fool came along and said, "Hmm, Saturn begins with Sat and ends with n.  Hey, so does Satan.  Wow!  They must be the same!"  This kind of air-headed reasoning is not a good basis for real knowledge.  Satan and Saturn are not cognates and do not have a common etymology.
