  1. If you're able/willing to drive, try looking into some countryside inns outside of the city. For example St. Jacobs, down near Kitchener, has a bunch of very nice old-style restaurants with fireplaces and so on, that will probably be celebrating Christmas in a traditional way. Southern Ontario has a lot of places like that, and it would be a lot more memorable than just some city restaurant. Of course, if you're not staying overnight there, don't drink too much!

  2. Try Canyon Creek.  Very romantic and great ambiance.

  3. north of Toronto in Unioniville.......absolutely lovely....lots to choose from

  4. If you really want to go to a romantic restaurant for New Years eve you have to go to the Moorings on Young st downtown, The owner is Renna Yoldasis and the place has been there for years, It is romantic and has all the ambiance you could ever want.

Tell Renna J. Shatto said hello.
