  1. I think that you could adapt a trike. Yes you could park it there with a plate from the RMV.

  2. They had one on "American Thunder" last week. Fellow was in a wheelchair and drove the bike from a sidecar. The sidecar had a power operated remote ramp. I do believe that bike was a Harley Davidson (model unknown). And yes; any vehicle with a valid handicap sticker can park in the designated spots.

  3. If it has a handicapped plate or placard you can park it in a handicapped parking spot. Type of vehicle is irrelevant

  4. my wife's dad has a gimped up leg.... and still rides

he also has a handi-spot placard.  he doesn't have the balls to fasten it to his bike to get the handi-spots.  pisses me off he even has a placard if he's good enough to ride.  he has his own parking spot at the plant he works in that he parks his bike at

bikes aren't for the handicapped.... well except for magz

  5. I don't recall the name of the company but one of the motorcycle magazines recently had an item about a trike conversion that had a drop down tailgate like a pickup truck. Drop the gate, roll the wheelchair into place where the seat would be, and secure the gate. Try Google or the American Motorcycle Association.

  6. Try Disabled Riders of America. They have a ton of info and bike sellers in their links section.

  7. yes for the UK -  have u tried national association of bikers with  disabilities (NABD)

try the magazine  called back street heroes they advertise in this biker mag if not look in the rally section good luck

  8. I don't recall the name, but someone here mentioned a kit for motorcycles.

    Hydraulic training wheels.

The 2 side wheels come down to hold up the bike when at a stop and retract up after you get moving.

Sorry I can't provide any more information.

As for the parking - if the vehicle has a  handicapped plate, then it's legal to park anywhere.

  9. On the TV show "Beyond Tomorrow" they showed a motorcycle for the people on wheel chair.

I suppose if you get one, then you can park it in the handicap parking like any other vehicle.

    Good Luck...

  10. Trikes are a great way to enjoy the open roads!

  11. Hoverround!!!...sorry best i could think of

  12. I built one for a guy in houston 25 yrs ago it was more of a stde car platform with the steering controls moved over to it he just pulled his chair up on it locked it dowm then controlled it from there

But I dont know if you can just buy one-Sorry

  13. I've seen what Indianjoe mentions. It was a BMW motorcycle.  Bikers/Trikers have the same right to park in the blue zone as anyone covered under the Americans With Disabilities Act.
