The Heroes Earnings Assistance and Relief Tax Act of 2008, or HEART Act, includes a provision allowing military families to receive the $600-per-person economic stimulus rebate even if a spouse does not have a Social Security number.

  1. There is a schedule at:

    However that schedule only pertains to those whose taxes where processed before April 15th. If you sent your taxes off on or around April 15th your check will be mailed a little later.

    You can also go to:

    https://sa1.www4.irs.gov/irfof/IRServlet...

    Enter your info there and it will tell you when yours was or will be mailed.

    Also you can call 1-800-829-0582 and enter ext 462 when prompted. This is about the only number you can call to get a live person, albeit you will be on hold for awhile.

  3. On the IRS site there is a stimulus check section that will allow you to view when your check will be mailed.  It is determined by the last two digits of primary SS#.  You can also do a search to see the status of the check.
