Does anybody no when the checks are going out?

The Heroes Earnings Assistance and Relief Tax Act of 2008, or HEART Act, includes a provision allowing military families to receive the $600-per-person economic stimulus rebate even if a spouse does not have a Social Security number.

However that schedule only pertains to those whose taxes where processed before April 15th. If you sent your taxes off on or around April 15th your check will be mailed a little later.

Enter your info there and it will tell you when yours was or will be mailed.

Also you can call 1-800-829-0582 and enter ext 462 when prompted. This is about the only number you can call to get a live person, albeit you will be on hold for awhile.

On the IRS site there is a stimulus check section that will allow you to view when your check will be mailed.  It is determined by the last two digits of primary SS#.  You can also do a search to see the status of the check.
