We ordered one off ebay and there are some very interesting programs from all over the world in English on there. We were wondering if anyone else listened to shortwave? And curious how you feel or think about it's effect concerning the future as far as communication?

Not much that won't put you to sleep.The internet has taken over and the religious stations really come BOOMING through..But unless your into bible preaching SW is becoming as extinct as dinos.You cant get anything during the day and at night their antennas are pointed in another direction.. Someone mentioned pointed at 3rd world countries. Hang on there folks were headed that way and SW may be turning back our way again.. Save your money on buying one if not u will be disappointed..You'll get all the up to date news from cnn,Fox etc.
