Does anybody remeber a tv show called The Monkees?

Yes, I used to watch reruns on cable as a kid. I thought it was cute until I was older and realized they were just kind of a poor man's version of the Beatles' "Help" movie.

Yes it was a show in the late 60's. A comedy about a struggling band. The show had Davy Jones, Michael Nesbith, Micky Dolez, and Peter Tork. There were two musician, Davy and Michale, Micky and Peter were actors.

They at first did not play there own instruments but latter in the show and on tour did play the instruments they played on the show.
